How starter disable actually works

A starter disable prevents the engine from being started again. What it does not do, and must never do, is cut power to a moving vehicle.

The command only takes effect once the vehicle is stationary and switched off. Any product or article describing it as stopping a moving vehicle is wrong. That would be dangerous, and it is not how these systems are built.

Testing GPS trackers across several vehicle types

A professional fits one in about half an hour. A careful DIYer needs an hour.

You will need the tracker, the vehicle's electrical diagram, wire strippers and crimp connectors. Add a fuse tap, insulating tape or heat shrink, zip ties, and a phone with the app ready.
